Ever have a day that left you feeling like shit? Pardon the strong language, but some days its nessecary. By the end of the day I was stressed, tired, and had the worst headache I've had in years. Forcing a smile for the last 12 customers was harder than chopping off my own finger with a butter knife. But I smiled and fought the urge to roll my eyes when someone complimented my cheeriness. Lunch break wasn't even relaxing. I spent my hour trying to make it to my bank (which is not the one I work for) than back home to force medicine down my poor kitty's throat (who was not thrilled to say the least). Things after work seemed to all go wrong. Then, when things stopped going wrong and were just normal, I was already in a negative mood. Finally, I decided to clear my head with a run. The temperature was perfect. I ran in my special place, a back road no one else runs on. I love it. It cleared my head. Running is a good remedy for negativity. Downside: coming home and finding ticks on me from running in the grass and I had to be a girl and freak and swat them off. Now I can't find them to kill them. Hmm....not good. I guess they'll show up later on me or a cat.
