Hmm.. who knows where this post is going to end up...

Did I mention before that I had to write a poem on the creation-evolution argument and include at least one scientific fact in it for my biology class? I spent a whole weekend on the dumb thing. But it was worth it, my professor loved it (which will hopefully make up for the paper he completely tore apart). If you are really interested in what it was about, ask me, but I doubt anyone is.

Fencing last night rocked!!!! I got to fence against the experineced people. I got my butt whooped but learned alot and had a blast. This week I have practice every night and a clinic this weekend. I love it, but this has to happen on my test week. Lovely.

For some reason my whole breakfast group woke up hyper. I ate breakfast with Tara, Matt and David this morning. When we got back to the dorm Matt and David and James were singing and we all played Duck-duck-goose (which started from Tara and I muttering gibberish that turned into kuskus, than goose-goose, than duck duck goose).

I went running before class yesterday (7am) with Josh. I don't know the best place to run yet so I decided to try Perimeter Road. We ran down the massive hill by the pit to perimeter, down perimeter and up a random road in the direction of campus (that I hoped would get us back to the dorm without having to run up the massive hill by the pit). As we rounded the corner I grinned because I could see the library, but my smile soon faded. "Those stairs are massive!!" I forgot about the Strom Wall. The stairs on that thing are small, steep and many in number. Josh and I decided to go for it and we sprinted for the wall. By the top I was panting and thought my legs would fall off, but was not ready to stop yet. We jogged the rest of the way to the dorm and ran up our dorm steps. The crazy thing is that I'm planning to do it tomorrow. I'm dumb, what can I say.

The Lord has really blessed me with my friends. Its neat to be around strong Christians who believe in a big God and not the Sunday school one. And it's a blessing to have such a supportive church family. I feel like I'm growing spiritually. Continue to pray that I will seek after the Lord, but that I will also have the wisdom to know what to say and when to speak out in class.

This place has slowly been feeling more like home. I keep starting to plan when I'm going to go home for a visit, but something always comes up here. I do miss you people though, so I'll come home at some point. Its weird cause I'm happy here, very happy, yet sometimes I miss home (the people, the place, everything like that). Since I live in Holmes, we always joke Home Sweet Holmes (yeah...that was random) (yeah...we're nerds, oh well). I miss horseback riding too. Am I complaining too much now?

I had come this long without anyone here knowing I was ticklish, but daggummit a couple have figured it out!! They still haven't snuck up on me yet and tickled me like you all use to do thank goodness!! That was the worst!!

Well, I have a test at 6:30 tonight and anothe rat 9am tomorrow and fencing tonight, so I better go study. Love ya'll!!!
